Redemption Sales
To setup Redemption Sales, you have to :
Set customer Reward Points Accumulation method : Go to General Settings -> Reward Points Accumulation
System provides two ways of point earning method for you to select :
- % of Transaction Amount
- Product Points
These are some terms in the settings you may want to know
Reward Point Accumulation Settings | |
% of Transaction Amount | Points accumulated = Transaction amount * Customer type’s loyalty percentage (can be set at Customer Type, refer Customer ->Customer Type) |
Product Points | Points are set at individual product level and awarded upon purchase. Go to Products -> create or edit product with Product Point |
Point Earn Factor Value | Calculated accumulation point will be rounded down to this factor value (eg. 5 as factor value : points calculated = 22.5 , after rounding = 20) |
Reward Point Redemption Settings | |
Enable Points Redemption Factor | Switching this on will enable points to be burned in multiple of a rounded factor value (eg. 5 as factor value : points needed to redeem = 28 , points burn = 30) |
Points have to be burned in multiples | This set the points redemption factor value (eg. 5 as factor value : redemption points need to be in multiple of 5 - 5/10/15/20 and so on) |
Pay more than amount due in points | Switching this on, points will be burned in multiple of a rounded up factor value (eg. 5 as factor value : points needed to redeem = 28 , points burn = 30 instead of 25) |
After setting up, customer points are accumulated upon purchase. Reward Points Collected will be printed on sales invoice.
Set point amount to redeem products : Go to Products -> create or edit product with Redemption Point
To perform Redemption Sales, you have to :
- Select customer and the product (with redemption point assigned) to redeem in Sales Memo.
- Proceed to payment. Choose Redemption Point as payment mode
